Welcome to the 7th annual Heart & Sole 5K, in honor of Courtney Frazine. Hosting this run/walk event is a privilege to remember and honor the loving heart and kind, generous soul of Courtney Frazine. Fruitport Congregational Church is the site for this scenic and enjoyable 5K run and walk. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 8:30 AM, is the date and time for this memorial run and walk. All participants will receive a quality "Dri-Fit" tech shirt for this event. Check out some of our event photos on the "PHOTOS" page.

In addition to her family, Courtney had a genuine love for children and her students, but she also had a passion for anyone in need, and this event raises funds to support the mission of non-profits that focus on improving the lives and well-being of Muskegon County's community members. The non-profit charities include:

Twelve years ago, Kids' Food Basket launched in Muskegon County, investing in children's health, education, and nutrition through the nourishment of evening meals called "Sack Suppers." Together, they've grown to ensure 1800 nutritious meals make it into the hands of Muskegon County kids each weekday. And yet, there is still more work to be done as they are only serving 11% of the needs in Muskegon County. Over 16,000 children in Muskegon County live at or near the poverty rate. Almost two-thirds of Muskegon County's student population qualify for free or reduced-cost breakfast and lunch, the highest county in West Michigan. The mission of Kids' Food Basket, Muskegon, is to put an end to childhood hunger. Kids' Food Basket of Muskegon would value your support in many ways. These may include financial contributions, hosting a "Wish List" drive, decorating bags for sack suppers, helping fill bags for sack suppers, and many other ways.
